Pretty in Red

Hey everyone. Been a while, eh? I'm not going to offer any excuses... the long and short of it is that I basically didn't feel like blogging. Thanksgiving/Hanukkah were nice and quiet and now we are heading into the holiday season. I could definitely do without the cold but this is the beauty of living in NY I suppose... we get all 4 seasons.

Anyway, Delilah came into the studio last week and I took her annual holiday portraits and I couldn't in good conscience hold them back from you :) I can't believe how much she has grown up! We got some really cute shots so I figured I'd pop in and share them with you.

Being nice...

And being naughty ;)

Can you deal with how adorable she is? And I'm not just saying it because she's my niece :) I love her dress, she looks so freaking cute.

Anyway, there you have Delilah's 2013 Holiday Portraits. It's so fun to see her grow from year to year.

I will do my best to come back and show you some holiday treats at some point when I stop being too lazy to make them. I think I'm going with a candy theme this year and will be making homemade chocolates and candy to give away. I guess we'll see how that works out.

Hope you have all been well!

  1. I'm kvelling! Especially love the pic of her looking in the mailbox! I love her dress and bow as always. Kudos to your SIL for styling and to the photographer for the great pics! And, of course, to the little model for being so charming.

    1. Haha bonus points for use of the word "kvelling!" My sister in law definitely did a great job styling, her outfit was perfect. Thanks for the compliment, I haven't shot anything for a while so I was afraid I'd be rusty and they wouldn't come out but I was pleased with the results. She is definitely charming! Her smile is the best :)

  2. Aaaah! A mini update and cute pics of Delilah!! She is just so cute, and I'm sure she had fun poking around the set!

I'm certain that whatever treats you make, they will be spectacular!

Occasional posts are perfect, as long as you don't disappear altogether, I'm happy! :)

    1. She definitely had a great time exploring the set! She loved the snowman and there is a little toy truck that she was having fun with too.

Awww thank you :) I need to get started on them! I just get so lazy lol. I think it is supposed to snow this Sunday so that would be the perfect day to get it done I guess I'll just have to try and get to the store before.

Thank you, I won't disappear I promise :) I'd at the very least at least keep commenting on your posts but I'll be around.

I plan to do some holiday baking too, but haven't decided on exactly what I will be making.
